Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Graspify ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Graspify provides AI-powered study tools, including notes generation, doubt solving, cheat sheets, mock tests, a study planner and a guided learning journey, designed to support learning and academic preparation.

3. Eligibility

We intend to support students under 18 with suitable safeguards. A verified-parent onboarding integration is not yet available. A checkbox, parent email, payment or acceptance of these Terms is not verified parental consent, and we do not claim that the child-account flow is complete. Parents should contact founder@graspify.in about an existing child account. Purchases by minors require an adult authorised to contract and pay; this does not by itself establish privacy consent.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and be responsible for all activity under your account. One account is for one person; accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for cheating, academic dishonesty, or violating exam rules
• Misuse the AI tools for harmful, illegal, or unethical purposes
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or exploit the platform, or bypass usage limits, paywalls or security controls
• Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit AI outputs or platform access

6. Payments & Subscriptions

• Billing: Pro subscriptions renew automatically — monthly or yearly — until cancelled.
• Where you bought it matters: purchases on graspify.in are processed by Razorpay and managed here. Purchases made inside the Android app are processed by Google Play and must be cancelled in Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Price changes: prices may change with prior notice; changes never apply to a period already paid for.
• Generation limits: Pro access remains subject to temporary per-account request limits and technical restrictions. Read the current limits. Pro is not a promise of infinite requests, guaranteed speed or uninterrupted availability.
• Deleting an account, uninstalling or logging out does not cancel a recurring payment mandate. See Billing & digital delivery and Refund & Cancellation before purchase.

7. Promo Codes & Rewards

XP earned through activity on Graspify may be exchanged for rewards, including single-use promo codes. The following applies to all promo codes:

• Website purchases only. You may earn XP and obtain a coupon in the Graspify app or website using the same account, but the coupon discount can only be claimed through website checkout on graspify.in. Coupons cannot be applied to Android in-app subscriptions or any Google Play purchase. Obtaining a coupon in the app does not make it valid for app billing.
• First payment only. A discount applies to the first payment of a new subscription. Renewals are charged at the standard price.
• Single use and non-transferable. Each code belongs to the account that earned it, works once, and cannot be shared, sold or used on another account.
• No cash value. Codes and XP cannot be exchanged for cash. Used or expired rewards are not normally restored, but technical errors and mandatory legal remedies remain reviewable through support.
• One per purchase. Codes cannot be combined with each other or with other offers.
• Unfinished checkouts. A coupon is reserved while a website checkout remains payable. You may resume the original checkout; we unlock the code only after confirming that no payment or authorisation occurred and the old checkout is closed. An uncertain gateway response requires support review.
• Existing subscriptions. Web and Google Play billing are separate payment agreements. Buying through another provider does not cancel an existing agreement. Manage each subscription with its original provider; cancelled subscriptions retain access for their remaining paid period.
• We may change, suspend or withdraw the rewards programme, alter XP costs, or invalidate codes obtained through error, abuse or automated activity.

8. Refunds and Billing Decisions

Subscriptions are sold on a recurring basis and we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, for unused generations, or for a change of mind after access has been granted.

This ordinary change-of-mind policy does not exclude remedies for defective or misdescribed service, non-delivery, duplicate charges, unauthorised payments or other cases protected by law. We review billing, refund and reward issues with an explanation; our decision is not final against your statutory rights. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Google Play purchases also follow Google Play's refund process. Razorpay processes website refunds authorised by Graspify; its processing role does not replace our obligations as the service provider. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Intellectual Property

Graspify owns its branding, design and software, or uses them under licence. You retain rights you have in your uploads; third-party materials retain their own rights. You grant us the limited permission needed to process your inputs with our providers to deliver, secure and support the requested service. Generated material may not be unique and is not guaranteed free of third-party rights. You may use it for lawful personal study. See AI & uploads.

10. User Uploads and Copyright

You can upload images, PDFs and text so the AI tools can work on them. You are responsible for what you upload, and you confirm you have the right to use it. Uploading material you do not own — a whole textbook, paid coursework, another publisher's question bank — may infringe copyright.

We do not publish your uploads as public study content. They are processed by OpenAI and stored against your account; authorised administrators and service providers may access necessary records for support, security and operation as explained in the Privacy Policy.

If you believe content on Graspify infringes your copyright, email our Grievance Officer (section 16) with the work concerned, where it appears, proof of your rights, and your contact details. We remove infringing material and may suspend accounts that repeatedly upload it.

11. AI Disclaimer

Graspify is an AI product, and AI makes mistakes. Every answer, note, cheat sheet, test, score and study plan is machine-generated and may be wrong, incomplete, outdated or misleading, even when it reads confidently.

• Always verify anything important against your textbook, syllabus or teacher before relying on it
• Graspify assists your study; it does not replace teaching, independent work, or your own judgement
• Outputs are not professional advice of any kind — not medical, legal, financial, or career advice
• We do not guarantee any exam result, score, grade or academic outcome
• Practice questions, mock tests and AI marking are for practice only and will not match any official examination or its marking

12. Limitation of Liability

Graspify is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Errors, inaccuracies or omissions in AI-generated content, or any decision you take based on it
• Academic outcomes, exam results, marks lost, or opportunities missed
• Service interruptions, downtime, data loss, or failures of third-party providers
• Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss

No disclaimer or contractual cap removes a mandatory consumer remedy or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or wilful misconduct. We remain responsible for duties that applicable law places on us.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform. You may request deletion at any time from account settings or graspify.in/delete-account. Your account and study content are removed from the active Graspify database 30 days later; signing in before then cancels the request. Payment processors and backups may retain copies as explained in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

Material changes to paid benefits or renewal conditions require clear notice and any consent required by law or the provider. We will ask separately when new privacy consent is needed; continued use is not a substitute for that consent.

15. Governing Law

Indian law governs these terms. The competent courts and consumer commissions have jurisdiction under applicable law; this does not prevent a consumer from filing in a forum available where they reside or work.

16. Grievance Redressal

Send complaints to our founder. See the complaint process, response times and independent escalation channels. Applicable shorter statutory deadlines take precedence.

Complaints may concern content, privacy, billing, or any misuse of the platform. We will:

• Consumer/billing complaints: acknowledge within 48 hours and redress within one month.
• Where intermediary rules apply, their shorter acknowledgement, resolution and urgent-content deadlines apply.
• Privacy grievances: respond within the published 90-day period, without replacing shorter deadlines applicable to the same complaint.
